My ceiling is already finished—does this Remodel housing fit? How is it different from New Construction?

Yes. Remodel cans secure from the finished ceiling using flip-clips/retainers—no pre-mounted joist hardware. New-construction cans mount to joists before drywall.

It’s TP24-only—can I use E26 bulbs or a generic trim?

No. Use LED downlight modules with TP24 only. E26 lamps or trim-only pieces aren’t supported.

My plenum is shallow—does the short-version really save space?

Yes—designed for low-clearance/shallow plenums, helping you dodge ducts/joists. Verify depth and wire bend radius before install.

What do IC & Air Tight really do for comfort and efficiency?

IC allows direct insulation contact; air-tight construction limits drafts and dust from the plenum—better HVAC efficiency and comfort.
