Which fire tests and building-energy programs does it meet?

UL 263, ASTM E119, CAN/ULC-S101 (2-hour), Title 24 JA8, ENERGY STAR, ETL, FCC. It’s IC-rated, Airtight, and Wet-location.

Is it safe with insulation or spray foam?

Yes. It’s IC-rated & airtight so direct contact with insulation is allowed. For spray foam, follow foam maker guidance and code; don’t block required J-box access.

Can I daisy-chain multiple lights?

This model’s maximum connection is 1 pc (stand-alone). If you need multi-light runs, plan branch circuits accordingly and follow code.

Is it suitable for retrofit and new construction?

Yes. Its canless, low-profile body and spring clips simplify retrofit; the metal J-box and FT6 wiring suit new-construction rough-in.
