      Can these LED lights be connected together to work as a series?

      Yes, they can be connected together to work as a series. They include with each unit the needed wiring to install them in series.

      Is it normal for these LED lights to have a slight illumination even when switched off?

      Yes, it is normal. LED drivers leak the residual power after they are no longer energized.

      Can these LED lights be hardwired to a power switch that does not have a dimmer?

      It is not recommended to hardwire these LED lights to a power switch that does not have a dimmer, as the level of light would be whatever the fixtures were preset to. It is recommended to use a dimmer switch to control the brightness.

      Will these LED lights cover the hole in the ceiling where a hard-wired fixture was removed?

      No, these LED lights go under the cabinet and are slim, and will not cover a 4-inch ceiling box.
