Will they glare?

These use a 40° narrow beam and a quality lens to control glare. Aim at ~30° from vertical for wall art to minimize reflections and hotspots.

Slope ceilings okay?

Yes—the gimbal offers 360° rotation and 15° tilt. On steep slopes or tall ceilings, check that 15° tilt is enough to hit the target cleanly.

How far from the wall should I place lights for artwork?

Rule of thumb: ~0.3× ceiling height from the wall, aimed at ~30°.
8 ft ceiling → 28–32 in from wall
9 ft ceiling → 32–36 in from wall

I see rings or scallops on the wall—what did I do wrong?

Try one or more: increase distance from wall, lower aiming angle, raise the fixture spacing, or soften the dimmer level.
