With the small aperture and deep-recessed anti-glare design, will the light feel too dim or harsh?

No. The deep recess hides the light source to cut glare and ceiling reflections, so the beam feels soft yet clear on surfaces—without losing usable brightness.

With such a narrow beam angle, I may need many fixtures in some areas. Will the ceiling look cluttered?

No. The ultra-thin, near-flush trim blends into the ceiling, keeping the space clean and cohesive even with a denser layout.

For an 8 ft ceiling, how should I space fixtures to create a continuous ribbon/pools of light on the floor?

Space fixtures about 2.5 ft apart for a continuous effect. Open the spacing slightly for a breezier rhythm, or tighten it a bit for a more compact look.

Is installation complicated? Do I need a separate can or extra parts?

It’s easy: canless with an integrated J-box and spring clips. Cut the opening, make the J-box connections, then push the fixture in to lock—no separate can or extra holes, so the ceiling stays clean (power off and follow local code).
