I have a sloped ceiling in my living room. Will this gimbal trim aim properly without creating glare?

Yes. The adjustable gimbal lets you tilt the beam (up to ~40° on the 4" model) so the light points straight down from a sloped surface. Aim just off the viewer’s sightline to reduce glare and keep the 95°/~100° beam comfortable.

I want to highlight a painting and also fill the room with light. Can one fixture do both?

Use the gimbal to “wash” the artwork (tilt toward the wall), and space other fixtures for general fill. One gimbal can accent a piece, but overall ambient lighting still benefits from a grid of evenly spaced cans.

Do these yellow over time?

The trim uses die-cast aluminum (4" listing) / pressure-cast aluminum housing (6" SJ16) with a durable finish; unlike plastic trims, aluminum resists yellowing and helps heat dissipation.

We’re retrofitting a mixed site. Are these compatible with both E26 and TP24?

Yes on the 4" model (kit includes E26 & TP24). The 6" SJ16 ships with E26 lead; confirm jobsite connector needs. Standard 120V triac dimming is supported.
