I want to brighten up my garage but don’t want to hardwire anything. Can I just plug this in and use it right away?

Yes! This shop light has a 1.5m power cord with a standard U.S. plug. Just hang it up, plug it in, and pull the chain to turn it on — no wiring or electrician needed.

My workspace ceiling is pretty low. Will the pull chain be long enough to reach easily?

Yes, the chain length is 0.25m (about 10 inches), which makes it easy to reach from standard garage or workshop ceiling height.

I have a two-car garage. How many lights do I need for good coverage?

Typically, four 4FT fixtures are enough for a two-car garage (about 170 ft² coverage per light). You can link up to four units on one circuit for wider illumination.

My basement is slightly damp. Is this safe to use there?

Yes, it’s rated for “Damp” locations, suitable for basements, garages, or laundry rooms with light humidity. Just avoid direct water exposure.
