I want the barn light to run itself—can I leave power always on so it turns on at dusk and off at dawn without a timer?

Yes. Keep the circuit hot; the built-in photocell handles dusk-to-dawn. You can also switch the sensor off for manual control.

Our site mixes 120V storefronts and 277V service—will this model run everywhere without extra drivers?

Yes. It supports universal AC 120–277V.

Mounting heights vary from ~12–24 ft—any quick rule to choose 100W/120W/150W?

As a start: ~12–16 ft use 100W, ~16–20 ft use 120W, ~20–24 ft use 150W; fine-tune by aiming.
