My safe interior is dark and felt-lined. Will these actually stick and stay?

Yes. You get three ways to mount—pre-applied 3M tape for smooth areas, hook-and-loop straps for felt/cloth, and screws for a permanent hold. Most safe owners use the hook-and-loop on felt so the bars can be repositioned later.

We need quick on/off and a simple way to match lighting across units. Complicated controls?

It’s simple: one in-line CCT & power switch. Tap to turn on/off; slide to pick the color. Press-and-hold dims from 10% to 100%, and it remembers the last brightness you set.

I need soft light at night without waking others. Can I dim it easily?

Yes. Press-and-hold the switch to dim down for night use. The memory brings back that gentle level next time you turn it on.

Will it get hot inside a small cabinet? I’m worried about kids touching it.

It’s low-heat LED. The bars run cool to the touch in normal use, suitable for indoor cabinets and closets.
