What does “trimless” mean, and why would I want it in my ceiling?

“Trimless” means the fixture installs flush with the ceiling surface and is finished over with plaster. It creates a seamless, modern look—perfect for spaces where you want to see the light but not the fixture.

I’ve seen “Quiet Ceiling” in lighting design—does this light achieve that effect?

Yes. The deep regressed design hides the LED source from direct view, reducing glare and keeping your ceiling visually calm and “quiet.”

Is the light too harsh when looking up directly?

No. Thanks to its deep regressed trim and 38° beam angle, the light is focused downward, reducing glare even when you glance upward.

Do I need a can housing or IC-rated box?

No can housing is needed. It’s IC-rated, meaning it can safely touch ceiling insulation directly—no extra metal can required.
